​Fingerprint/LiveScan services will be completed at the time of your appointment if necessary.​

                  Be Sure to bring ALL the necessary forms for your appointment.                                         They can be found under Instructions and Forms tab.                                                            Please follow the Instructions completely.                                                           Out of Country transcripts must be evaluated prior to your appointment by a                                                                                     CTC approved evaluation company.   Foreign Transcripts Evaluation Form.​                            ​​

Child Development Permits: CDTC ​Stipend Applications and funds for 25-26 are open. child​development.org ​ Please bring the CDTC forms if you have applied for the stipend or a $100 money order payable to "CTC" to process your CDP applications.​ 

This is our busiest time of the year. While we do not maintain a waitlist, you are welcome to check online for any canceled appointments. We aim to respect your time and ensure that we are fully prepared for every educator with an appointment. To help us serve you efficiently, please make sure all your paperwork is completed before you arrive.

The Orange County Department of Education Credentials Unit serves as the liaison to the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing for Orange County School Districts and the County Office. We offer Credential and Live Scan/Fingerprint services.  Live Scan/Fingerprint fees range from $25-$137 depending on the services needed. 
​

The Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) oversees college, university, and alternative program accreditations, issuance of credentials and permits, examinations to meet subject matter competency and any changes in legislation and regulation of teacher credentialing.
