Alcohol & Drug Intervention & Prevention Team (ADEPT):  Alcohol and Drug Education and Prevention Team (ADEPT):  This organization run by the County of Orange Health Care Agency, provides alcohol, tobacco and other drug prevention information, materials and videos.
 
Center for Drug Free Communities:  Executive Director, Dr. Bill Beacham runs PAL Camps and TeamWork Days, and provides training for educators, law enforcement personnel and parents in substance use, abuse, prevention, and treatment.
 
Center on Alcohol Marketing and Youth:  Monitors the marketing practices of the alcohol industry to focus attention and action on industry practices that jeopardize the health and safety of America's youth.

Great American Smokeout:  Smokers across the nation take part in the American Cancer Society’s Great American Smokeout® by smoking less or quitting for the day on the third Thursday of November.

Orange County Substance Abuse Prevention Network (OCSAPN): Promotes and enhances the quality, quantity, coordination, and cooperation of positive youth development programs and prevention services in Orange County. 
 
Tobacco Use Prevention Program (TUPP):  Program of the County of Orange Health Care Agency that provides tobacco prevention, policy information, teen and adult cessation services, materials and videos.
 
Tobacco and Prevention Education (TUPE): The purpose of the TUPE program is to reduce youth tobacco use by helping young people make healthy tobacco-related decisions through tobacco-specific research-validated educational instruction and activities that build knowledge, social skills and youth development assets.

World No Tobacco Day: The objective of World No-Tobacco Day is to bring awareness to the dangers of tobacco use.
