The Orange County Department of Education provides quality education for Deaf and Hard of Hearing students grades seven through twelve and adult transition, residing in Orange and surrounding counties. This program has been recognized as a model of regionalized programming nationwide.
The CONNECTIONS Hard of Hearing Program is located on Irvine Unified School District campuses at Venado Middle School and University High School. Adult Transition Program is located on the Orange Coast College (OCC) campus. The program serves deaf and hard of hearing students living in the 28 school districts throughout Orange County surrounding counties that are referred by their home school district.
