The 2020 U.S. Census website is here! The Orange County Department of Education is providing some resources for teachers and community leaders to help spread the word about the importance of the Census, including:
A repository of letters in various languages Google document, presentations in various languages pdf file, and PDF/audio robocalls in various languages (recording and scripts here) to explain how to participate and the importance of the Census.
A comprehensive collection of resources such as graphics, flyers, posters, and fact sheets can be found here. Some of the language files include old dates because new ones have not been created. Use the above resources for individuals who are emerging bilinguals.
A school-based toolkit Google documents, with sample news releases, board resolutions, and social media posts for schools and districts and a webinar to inform educators how to encourage Census participation.
