Let us think of education as the means of developing our greatest abilities, because in each of us there is a private hope and dream which, fulfilled, can be translated into benefit for everyone and greater strength for the nation.

                                                 --John F. Kennedy

The primary purpose of the office of Curriculum and Learning is to assist ACCESS personnel in developing classroom instruction by focusing on improving student achievement.

The objective is to provide all students with academic and authentic learning opportunities that create a passion for learning and also develop their skills and abilities to be college and career ready. The Office of Curriculum and Learning views coaching, collaboration, communication and training as the foundation in our efforts.

An integrated, engaging, purposeful and powerful curriculum for every ACCESS student.

Effective and high-quality support services for every ACCESS student.

To provide ACCESS-wide support for administrators, teachers, students and staff to ensure that:

1.  Carefully planned and powerful teaching and learning is the focus of our instructional program.

2.  Students have access to a wide range of effective and high-quality support services.
