Providers Currently Enrolled

Providers may sign up with IS Integrated Payables for Direct Deposit. You will continue to receive a mailed check until you have been fully authorized for Direct Deposit. You cannot apply for Direct Deposit until you have received 2 months of checks. 

A provider may submit their own record of attendance for child along with an explanation as to why it is being submitted.  Parent and Provider signatures attesting that the record is true and correct is still required.​

When a parent's signature is missing from attendance record payment will only be processed when all three (3) of the following criteria are met:

1. The parent has not communicated with the provider for a minimum of seven consecutive days.
2. The provider has notified OCDE of the parent's lack of communication in accordance with the Abandonment of Care Policy, please reference page 47 of OCDE's Family Support Services Parent/Provider Participation Guidelines (handbook).
3. The provider has documented the provider's unsuccessful attempts to collect a parent signature.

For Licensed Homes and Centers ONLY, not applicable to Licensed Exempt In-Home relatives, Out of Home relatives, or Trustline providers. When a child care is closed for vacations/holidays, these are considered Non-Op days and may be paid up to then (10) days. Non-Op days must be on file with OCDE in order to be paid. Provider must notify OCDE FSS, in writing, two (2) weeks prior to any change in Non-Ops or HOlidays in order to be reimbursed.

Only when Provider's Absence Policy on record with OCDE indicates provider is reimbursed for excusable absences.  Please refer to the Parent/Provider Participation Guidelines for further information.​

A child care provider must submit a written updated rate sheet 30 days prior to the first date of the rate change. For further questions please contact our Provider Services Department​.

Attendance sheets can be mailed to the PO Box located at the top of the sheet or hand delivered to our office. We do not accept copies of any kind, including E-Copies; the original sheet with original signatures is required. 

You must submit your updated information in writing to the Provider Services Department.​

OCDE reimburses based on a provider's preferred rate type and the Regional Market Rate set forth by the State.  Please refer to the Child Care Services Certificate for further information.  The Regional Market Rate Ceiling is available at https://rcscc.adm.dss.ca.gov/.​

You must contact FIS to let them know that your account information has changed.  A live check will be mailed out to the address on file.​

A Non-Op day is a day that a child care provider is closed for child care. Only 10 Non-Op days are allowed per fiscal year (July 1st - June 30th) can be reimbursed for licensed homes and centers. Licensed Exempt In-Home relatives, Out of Home relatives, or Trustline providers are not eligible for reimbursement for Non-Op days.

Reimbursements are issued within 21 days of OCDE receiving a completed attendance sheet. Attendance sheets are processed in the order in which they are received.
