Children & Youth Behavioral Health Initiative (CYBHI) Fee Schedule

Overview

The Children and Youth Behavioral Health Initiative (CYBHI) fee schedule represents a transformative, statewide effort to enhance and expand access to behavioral health services for children and youth. Through this initiative, schools play a critical role in delivering timely, equitable, and culturally responsive mental health supports that will help Local Educational Agencies (LEAs):

  • Increase access to mental health services for students by  services directly into school settings
  • Promote early intervention and prevention, addressing student needs before they escalate
  • Strengthen coordination between education, healthcare, and community-based providers
  • Advance equity in behavioral health care, ensuring all students receive appropriate supports

Orange County Department of Education (OCDE) is committed to partnering with Local Educational Agencies (LEAs) across Orange County to successfully implement CYBHI services, strengthen student mental health systems, and build long-term sustainability through reimbursement opportunities.
