Healthy students are more successful in school. The Orange County Department of Education (OCDE) Health Services Team recognizes the essential connection between student health and academic achievement.

Our office partners with school nurses, health services staff, administrators, families, healthcare providers, public health agencies, and community organizations to strengthen school health services across Orange County. We provide countywide leadership and guidance on health-related laws, regulations, and professional standards. We offer professional development training and resources related to school health services and the health needs of students.
