The ocMaker Challenge is a free STEAM design program for PK–12 students that invites them to solve real-world problems through creativity and innovation. By integrating science, technology, engineering, art, math, and design thinking, students identify a need or challenge and design, build, or repurpose a product to address it. Along the way, they develop critical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, connect classroom learning to real-world applications, and share their work with industry professionals. Each step empowers students to become innovative change-makers prepared for the future world of work.
Prompt:
Design and build, or significantly repurpose a product that solves a problem, need or want.
