The STHS program is creating a rich communication network for the exchange of information among schools. At both Canyon and Trabuco Hills High School, the progressive administration and supportive staff thrives on the opportunity to share their technological expertise and are determined to learn from others. By pooling information and resources, they foster the success of their own students and help raise all Orange County schools to a world-class level in innovative use of technology integrated with creative and effective instruction.

As our model schools, Canyon and Trabuco Hills are equally dedicated to sharing their knowledge with schools both in and outside the Orange County area, and invite you to visit their campuses to further explore the progressive programs they have to offer. Visitation by videoconference is also available.

    So What is This About?

Outstanding, innovative and instructionally-sound applications of educational technology are taking place in high schools throughout Orange County. In response to the inspirational success of such schools, the Orange County Department of Education (OCDE) has created the new Stellar Technology High School (STHS) model program. The program identifies, supports, promotes, and demonstrates how the integration of technology is contributing to student achievement in comprehensive Orange County high schools.
