Message From The Superintendent

3-15-07

Every day, parents and care givers send their children to school feeling confident that they are leaving their children in safe hands. In Orange County, we take school safety very seriously. Our priority is to provide a productive learning environment that is safe and free from violence. This website is designed to assist community members, district officials, parents, teachers, and other school personnel in both preparing for and reacting to emergency situations. It takes the dedication of parents, schools, districts, and many other community partners to help protect our schools and to keep our children safe from harm. It is our hope that this website will contribute to the mission of providing quality education in a safe learning environment where every child has the chance to succeed.

William M. Habermehl
County Superintendent of Schools
