February 8, 2017

The Central Orange County Career Technical Education  Partnership (CTEp) and the Orange County Department of Education held an  Industry Business Advisory meeting at Angel Stadium on February 8, 2017.  Forty business partners were invited to participate in discussion group sessions in the following industry sectors:  Arts, Media & Entertainment, Business & Finance, Education, Child Development & Family Services, Engineering & Architecture, Health Science and Medical Technology, Hospitality, Tourism & Recreation, Information & Communication Technologies, Manufacturing & Product Development, Marketing, Sales & Services, Public Services, and Transportation. 

 It is our mission to provide all students in the Garden Grove, Orange and Santa Ana Unified School Districts with "world-class" Career Technical Education.  Our programs introduce students to the world of careers while educating them in the technical fields that are in demand in California. We look forward to continued partnerships in order to guide future progress of Career Technical Education programs in Central Orange County.  Together we are able to make a difference. The collaboration between business and education enables us to give our students the opportunity to apply their academic theory to solve real-world problems and prepare for a successful future in Orange County's promising careers. We sincerely thank our business partners for their participation in this event.
