As part of the Touch2Learn program, a number of OCDE students access mobile devices to assist in communicating their wants and needs. This referral process is managed by our speech and language specialists in conjunction with other members of the IEP team.
When the team has determined that it is appropriate to use a mobile device for AAC purposes, there are a number of considerations that should be discussed by the team. The following document may help provide direction on a variety of considerations.
