OCDE’s Connections Deaf and Hard of Hearing Adult Transition Program (ATP) is located in Costa Mesa on the campus of Orange Coast College. The mission of the program is to prepare and empower DHH students with the knowledge, skills and self confidence necessary to be successful, independent, and self-supporting members of our community.

The program was developed for DHH students who have completed their high school coursework and need additional training and support as they prepare for full-time employment and independent living.  The ATP program provides student with a college campus experience.  Students also learn skills that are relevant to career development, financial independence and personal responsibility.

Students participate in the development of their Individual Education Plans and Individual Transition Plans. Students in this program also participate in internship experiences and career technical education (CTE).
