Is a multi-tiered system of support for achieving valued student outcomes. PBIS is NOT a curriculum, but IS a set of core features within a framework that guides selection and integration of the best, scientifically-based academic and behavioral practices for improving academic and behavior outcomes for all students. PBIS is related through research not only to reduction in problem behaviors, but increases in student academic gains and social/emotional competence.
