​OCSBA is a professional organization of local school boards and community college boards in Orange County established to serve each other's needs through consolidated action, exchange of information, and programs focusing on public education.
 
 
MISSION:
The Association exists to connect, inform and support all Orange County public school board members and to foster advocacy for public education.
 
 
OBJECTIVES:
  • Preserve, advance, and improve our public schools
  • Develop advocates within our school boards, providing regular opportunities for professional growth, collaboration, networking and political advocacy;
  • Promote legislative efforts designed to maintain and improve public school programs that are financially sustainable.
 
Membership is available to every Board of Education of public schools and community college districts in Orange County.  On-going activities include cooperation with the Association of California School Administrators (ACSA) and the California School Boards Association (CSBA). The OCSBA addresses issues of mutual concerns, provides updates on legislature activity through Political Action Group Effort (PAGE) meetings, sponsors topical speakers to enhance OCSBA objectives and recognizes meritorious service on behalf of public education and our youth.
