Student Workshops

Media Literacy Trainings

The Orange County Department of Education provides media literacy workshops for secondary students.  These interactive workshops are available in-person and virtually, and build skills in critical thinking and information literacy.  The trainings support California Health Education Content Standards for Alcohol, Tobacco, and Other Drugs (Standard 2:  Analyzing Influences).  This opportunity is available at no cost to public, charter, private schools, and afterschool programs.  For more information, please see workshop flyers linked below.
