The OCDE Mathematics Team provides support and professional development services to increase teachers’ mathematics content and pedagogical knowledge. Services include the effective use of adopted materials; implementation of instruction that consistently includes problem solving, inquiry, critical thinking, and development of student mathematical discourse; and the use of assessment to inform instruction and increase student achievement.
Our mathematics professional learning models serve teachers and students to meet the demands of the Common Core State Standards and become innovators in the 21st century workforce.
