The Orange County Department of Education (OCDE) accepted applications from Local Education Agencies (LEA) for the Scale-Up MTSS Statewide (SUMS) technical assistance (TA) grant. Funds in the amount of 18 million dollars have been appropriated as part of Assembly Bill 104, Chapter 13, Statutes of 2015, for scaling up of the utilization of a Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS).
The grant funding was distributed into three separate Cohorts with up to 6 million dollars awarded in each round of applications.
Cohort 1: March 31, 2017
Cohort 2: November 3, 2017
Cohort 3: April 9, 2018
Scale-Up MTSS Statewide (SUMS) is no longer taking applications at this time.
