The purpose of Early Intervention for School Success (EISS) is to provide grant awards to schools where teachers, support staff, and administrators agree to participate in Professional Learning Communities. EISS offers a Request for Application (RFA) to qualifying (click on "Eligibility" link below) school sites in the state of California after January in each calendar year. The RFA may be downloaded from this website (click on "Grant Application" link below). All RFAs are to be returned to the Orange County Department of Education on or before the deadline date. Upon approval, grantee school sites are posted on the web. The primary use of the grant funding is to pay for professional development for school site staff.
