Safe Schools & Support Services coordinates exemplary life-changing experiences that maximize ACCESS student achievement.
To provide students with a variety of meaningful youth development opportunities that optimize their social, emotional, and academic success.

Safe Schools & Support Services (Safe Schools) is dedicated to support ACCESS students through exemplary programs custom-designed to meet their needs. ACCESS students face overwhelming obstacles in their everyday lives that make academic success very difficult. Many students are foster youth, on probation, homeless, victims of abuse, teen parents, and/or live in high crime neighborhoods with limited resources.

In 1999, ACCESS added the Safe Schools to further meet student needs. In the past decade, Safe Schools has operated numerous federal and private grants, establishing expertise in providing high quality programs to severe at-risk students. Programs have been in the areas ranging from  youth development to mental health counseling services. Safe Schools has an excellent history of successful grant implementation, reporting, and completion. Many partners have continued to provide services to ACCESS students as in-kind due to relationships cultivated  between Safe Schools and its community partners. Safe Schools also has a non-profit organization called ReDirections.

Dedicated to providing a safety net of programs and services for ACCESS students and staff
